The Backup tab in 7TV allows you to export and import your extension settings — perfect for switching browsers, restoring preferred configurations, or sharing your setup with friends.
Export
Clicking Export downloads your current settings to a file. This file can be stored locally and used later to restore your configuration exactly how it was.
Import
Select a previously exported 7TV settings file to instantly apply your saved preferences.
Settings That Can't Be Backed Up
A small number of settings aren’t included in export/import due to technical limitations:
Emote menu usage
Emote menu collapsed sets
Disable Comic Sans
These settings must be manually adjusted after importing your backup.
