Adding emotes to your 7TV channel lets your viewers engage more expressively in chat. Whether you're uploading your own or selecting from public favorites, managing your channel's emotes is quick and easy.

Requirements

To add emotes to a channel on 7TV, you must:

  • Be the channel owner (via a connected platform like Twitch or Kick),
    or

  • Be an editor with the appropriate permissions

Adding Emotes to a Channel

  1. Go to any emote you'd like to add.

  2. Click Add To, and select the Channel you'd like to add it to (if you manage multiple).

  3. You can also rename the emote to anything you'd like and it will show up the same way.

Channel vs. Personal Emotes

  • Channel emotes appear for everyone in your stream’s chat (if they have 7TV installed)

  • Personal emotes are just for your account visible across all chats.

Managing Channel Emotes

From your channel emote set, you can:

  • Remove or replace them

  • Adjust which set you use or aliases (optional)

To make changes, go to your Channel Emotes set and click on any emote.
