What Are Cosmetics on 7TV?

An introduction to paints and badges, and how they enhance your identity.

โš ๏ธCosmetics are only available to equip when the user has an active 7TV

Subcription.


Badges

Badges are small icons that appear next to your username across Twitch and Kick. They reflect your achievements or role, such as how long you've been a subscriber.

Examples of Badge Types:

  • Subscriber Badges: Earned based on your subscription streak (e.g. 1 Month, 1 Year, 2 Years, etc.) You can view your badge progress in the Store > Subscription tab.

  • Seasonal Badges: Like the X-MAS 2024 badge

  • Event & Role Badges: Such as CS2 Diamond Predictor or Valentine Gifter.




Some Badges you might see are Role Badges, applied to users that have contributed, moderate or have a part in 7TV.


Badges can be Animated or Static.


Paints

Paints add dynamic styling to your username, gradients, themes, or effects. These are purely cosmetic and help make your name stand out in chat.



Some Paints you might see are Unique Moderator Paints, applied only to the Moderator's account.


Some Paints you might see are Streamer Paints, Given away by the Streamer in collaboration with 7TV.


Paints can be Animated or Static.


How to get Badges:

  • Badges are earned automatically as a reward for continuous 7TV subscription milestones. The longer your active subscription, the higher the badge tier you'll unlock.

  • Special events or limited-time promotions.

  • Redeem codes from events or exclusive promotions.

  • Contributing to 7TV, such as moderating, translating or helping.


How to Get Paints:

  • Monthly paint drops as a subscriber perk, keep an eye on our X (Twitter)!

  • Special events or limited-time promotions

  • Redeem codes from events or exclusive promotions.

  • 7TV collaboration with a Streamer to giveaway Channel Paints.

You can manage your available paints in the Cosmetics tab on your profile, and apply them by simply selecting one from the list. More info here.
