Video Player - Site Layout

Take full control of your stream view by hiding Twitch overlays.

Updated over 11 months ago

Sometimes, less is more. This section helps you declutter the stream view itself by removing Twitch UI elements that appear when hovering over the player. Whether you're a minimalist or just want an uninterrupted viewing experience, these toggles let you fine-tune how clean your stream looks.

To access these options:
Click the 7TV icon β†’ Settings β†’ Site Layout β†’ Video Player

Hide Top Bar of Stream

Disables the top overlay bar that appears when hovering over a stream. This typically includes the streamer's name, live status, and category.

Hide Player Controls

Hides the standard bottom controls (e.g. play/pause, volume, progress bar) when hovering. Useful for a fullscreen theater-like feel.
