The Compatibility tab is a simple but important utility built into the 7TV extension. It allows users to scan their currently installed browser extensions to detect anything that might interfere with 7TV's functionality or display.
Check Compatibility
Clicking the "Check Compatibility" button runs a scan across your browser environment. It identifies known conflicts — such as issues with other Twitch-focused extensions (e.g. BetterTTV, FFZ, or ad-blockers that impact scripts or visuals).
If there's a problem, 7TV will provide clear feedback or warnings so you can take action, whether that’s disabling a conflicting feature or adjusting browser settings.
This tool is especially useful if you experience bugs or UI glitches. Running a quick compatibility check can save you time troubleshooting and ensures that 7TV works as intended alongside other tools you might use.
