Emotes & Chat

People aren't seeing emotes in chat, or paints are appearing twice
This can be resolved by enabling the FFZ 7TV Emotes add-on in your settings and disabling username paints in either FFZ or 7TV. Having both extensions render paints simultaneously causes this conflict.

This is intended behaviour. When emotes share the same name, 7TV Next follows a fixed priority order: 7TV > FFZ > BTTV > Twitch. Since emotes are processed as plain text, there's no reliable way to determine which platform the sender intended — so the highest-priority match is used.

This is caused by the EventAPI occasionally not firing all events. This affects all extensions, not just 7TV Next, and is being monitored.
Visual & UI

This occurs when both FFZ and 7TV are configured to render paints at the same time. Disabling paints in one of the two extensions will resolve the issue.

This is caused by FFZ and is not related to 7TV Next.
Player & Stream

This is likely caused by another extension interfering with or replacing the Twitch player. Disabling other active extensions one by one should help identify the conflict.

This is a native Twitch feature and is not caused by 7TV Next. It falls outside the scope of what we're able to modify.
