Emote Approval Process

Learn about what to expect when submitting emotes for public use.

Before an emote can be listed publicly on 7TV, it must meet community standards and go through a short approval process. This ensures that content shared on the platform remains safe, respectful, and fun for everyone.

All emotes are reviewed by human moderators and may be removed at any time if they break these rules.


How long does Approval Process take?

When you upload an emote as public, it enters a review queue this can take from minutes to couple days as moderators process the queue.

🔄 Statuses:

  • Unlisted: The emote is only visible to you until it’s approved.

  • Approved: Approved and publicly searchable by all users.

🔄Activity Statuses:

  • Approved for Personal Use: Can be used in personal emote sets.

  • Rejected for Personal Use: Cannot be used in personal emote sets, due to the nature of the emote or size or width.

  • Approved for Public Listing: The emote can be used publically and is searchable.

This process helps keep the platform clean and enjoyable for everyone.


⚡Subscribers Gets Priority

If you're a 7TV subscriber, your uploads are prioritized in the moderation queue — meaning they’re likely to be approved faster.


Rejected Emotes

If your emote is rejected, it will be removed from the platform or it won't be able to be seen by others as it will remain unlisted.
