Personal Emote Sets
Personal Emote Sets are an exclusive feature for 7TV subscribers, giving you a dedicated set to use emotes approved for personal use across any channel you're active in.
What’s a Personal Emote Set?
A personal emote set is:
Tied to your user account
Usable in chat anywhere the 7TV extension is installed
Fully customizable, you choose which emotes appear in it
Think of it as your emote backpack, always with you in chat.
How Many Emotes Can I Add?
Slot limits depend on your account type:
Free users don't get Personal Emote slots.
Subscribers can add up 5 Personal Emotoes.
You can view your current usage in your Account under the Emote Sets tab.
Where Are These Emotes Used?
Anywhere you chat on supported platforms (with the 7TV extension), your personal emotes will be available in the emote menu and autocomplete.
This means:
You don’t need to rely on channel emotes alone
Your personal favorites are always available
You can build a set that reflects your taste or humor
How to Manage Your Personal Set
What is a Personal Emote Set?
Your Personal Emote Set appears alongside your other sets on the Emote Sets tab. You can identify it by its capacity, personal emote sets have 5 slots, which is unique to this set type.
Finding Personal Use Emotes
To find emotes that can be added to a Personal Emote Set, head to the Emotes tab and browse the emote directory. On the left-hand side, check the Personal Use filter, this will narrow the results down to only emotes that have been approved for personal use.
Adding an Emote to Your Personal Set
Once you've found an emote you'd like to use, click on it to open its page. From there, click Add to... to open the set selection dialog.
In the dialog, locate your Personal Emote Set — you'll recognise it by the 5 slot capacity. Select it and click Confirm to add the emote.
