This section gives you a set of default behaviors for automatically highlighting certain messages in chat. Whether you're keeping track of mentions, suspicious users, or chat activity, these options help you stay informed and focused.


Show Mention Highlights

Enables automatic highlighting for any messages that mention or reply to you in chat.


Play Sound on Mention

Plays an audio notification when someone mentions your username.


Flash Title on Mention

When you're tabbed out, the title bar of your browser will flash the username of anyone who mentions you.


Show Monitored Suspicious User Highlights (Moderator only)

Visually mark users that Twitch has flagged as “monitored suspicious,” only visible to moderators.


Show Restricted Suspicious User Highlights (Moderator only)

Highlights users flagged as “restricted suspicious,” allowing mods to spot risky behavior more easily.


Show Returning Chatters (Moderator only)

Highlights users who have returned to chat after a period of absence.


Show Raiders (Moderator only)

Highlights users who have just joined the stream through a Twitch raid.


Show First-Time Chatter Highlights

Marks messages from users chatting for the first time in the current stream.


Show Highlights for Your Own Messages

Highlights the messages you send, which can help with tracking your responses or content in busy chats.


Highlight Sound Volume

Lets you adjust the volume of the notification sound that plays when you're mentioned.
