The Autocompletion settings under the Chat tab let you tailor how you search, suggest, and select emotes and users while typing. Whether you're a fast typer or just want smoother emoji access, these options can seriously enhance your chat flow.
Autocompletion
This is the core toggle for autocompletion behavior.
Require the ':' prefix (default): Emotes will only autocomplete when you start typing with a colon (e.g.
:monka).Always on: Typing anything will trigger emote suggestions without needing
:— this disables the tab-carousel.
Autocompletion: Emoji
Enable or disable emoji suggestions alongside emotes.
⚠️ May slightly impact performance on lower-end systems.
Autocompletion: Mode
Sets which emotes are included in suggestions:
Must include input: Shows results that contain what you're typing anywhere in the name.
Must start with input: Only emotes that begin with your typed characters are shown.
Tab-completion Carousel
Displays a visual carousel of emote suggestions as you tab through them. Great for browsing what’s available.
Tab-completion Carousel: Arrow Keys
Lets you use left/right arrow keys to navigate the carousel instead of just Tab.
Autocomplete chatters
Includes usernames of active chatters in autocomplete suggestions. Ideal if you often mention people in chat.
