Step 1: Install the 7TV Extension
To see and use 7TV emotes, you’ll need to install the browser extension:
Go to https://7tv.app/
Click "Web Extension"
Follow the link to the Chrome Web Store and press "Add to Chrome/Browser"
Refresh your Twitch/Kick tab.
Step 2: You can use emotes in chat by:
Typing the emote name/code (e.g.,
widepeepoHappy)Clicking the 7TV emote menu in the chat box to browse and insert.
Typing
:followed by the first letters of an emote and then selecting the emote using Up and Down arrows. (e.g,:widepeepoHappy:)You can also start typing an emote and Press
Tabto auto-complete an emote.
Where Can I Use 7TV Emotes?
You can use 7TV emotes on:
Twitch (with the extension)
Kick (with the extension)
Discord (manually uploaded or linked via bots)
Any chat platform that supports 7TV through integrations
Troubleshooting
If you can’t see emotes:
Make sure the extension is installed and enabled
Refresh the browser tab
Make sure the channel you’re watching has 7TV emotes added
Check that your internet connection or browser isn’t blocking scripts
