Emote Sets

Emote Sets allow you to organise your 7TV emotes into named collections, making it easy to manage different sets for different channels or occasions.

Viewing Your Emote Sets

The Emote Sets tab gives you an overview of all the sets associated with your account. Each set displays a preview of its emotes along with a capacity indicator showing how full the set is.

Setting an Active Emote Set for Your Channel

At the top left of the Emote Sets tab, your currently active set is displayed. Clicking it opens the Active Emote Set menu, where you can choose which set is active for your channel.

You're not limited to your own sets, you can also select a set from any channel you have editor access to. Simply browse the list, which is grouped by channel, and select the set you'd like to use.

Creating a New Emote Set

To create a new set, click the + Create New Set button in the top right of the Emote Sets tab. This will open a small dialog where you can:

  • Enter a name for your set

  • Optionally add tags to help others discover your set

Browsing a Set

Clicking on any set from the Emote Sets tab takes you to that set's dedicated page, where you can see all the emotes it contains.

From here, you can also enable the set for any channel you are an editor of using the Enable button at the top of the page. Clicking the dropdown arrow next to it will list all eligible channels.

Editing a Set

On any set's page, clicking Edit opens a panel where you can adjust:

  • Emote Set Name β€” Rename the set at any time

  • Capacity β€” The default capacity is 1,000 emotes, but this can be adjusted using the slider

  • Tags β€” Add tags to make your set discoverable by others

When you're done making changes, click Save. If you'd like to permanently remove the set, the Delete option is also available here.

If you have any questions about managing your Emote Sets, feel free to reach out β€” we're happy to help.
